Dear Editor, I am writing to you today because I am saddened by our countries growing hatred for one another. People like Mahmoud Ahmadinejad of Iran, Vladimir Putin of Russia, Fidel Castro of Cuba, and Hugo Chavez of Venezuela are all elated to see us turning on one another instead of concerning ourselves with how they oppress the people within their countries boarders. Somewhere along the way we have all become self absorbed in ourselves and forgotten there is a world out there we all belong to it and it needs our help.You have to know we are a blessed nation, otherwise, why do all the people of the world want to come here to live? With these blessings come responsibilities and one of those responsibilities is to love our fellow man even when we disagree with each others political convictions. We are all living through these hard times but we are still better off than many people around the world. Now is the time for us to pull together and make this country strong again showing the world we are one nation under God, indivisible with liberty and justice for all.
